Things We’re Thankful For

Whether you’ve been here for less than a month (Barbara!) or since Patientco started (Bird and Joshua!), there’s a lot to be thankful for here at Patientco.

In the spirit of the season, we asked our employees what they’re thankful for this year. From the heartfelt to the hilarious, they had a lot to say.

I am thankful for my family, my health, my family’s health and for the opportunity in front of me.
— Amanda Comer, Regional Sales Manager

I’m thankful for the office at the corner of Piedmont and Peachtree.   That is such prime real estate.    The views out of every window are amazing.   I park on the 8th floor in the parking deck so I can look at my truck all day.  That is crazy I can see my truck right there and I am in the they sky and my truck is in the sky.  I am also thankful for my truck because it is paid off and has a tape player.

I’m also thankful for my coworkers. Everybody seems to really like me and gives me encouragement.   Or if they hate me they hide it really well.   That is nice.  I have worked at some cut-throat places, and it is nice that so many people are nice.

I’m thankful for the opportunity to work for a dynamic company that is going to change healthcare. I’m also thankful for ACC football, given the wasteland in SEC and independents. And I’m thankful for all the adult beverage choices that Patientco offers.
— Cori Wixon, Solutions Associate

I am thankful for the flexible work/life balance that Patientco allows us to have. Family comes first, and I am able to attend all special family events big or small. I missed a couple family gatherings over the last 9 years at other jobs because of strict policies or not being able to work remotely. For this reason, I am extremely blessed, happy and THANKFUL to work for Patientco!
— Rebecca Greiner, Sales Development Representative

I’m thankful for our growing team that can share the engineering responsibilities around the holidays and allow everyone to enjoy a little more time with their families.
— Sean Joyce, Director of Engineering

I’m thankful that I’m a part of the Patientco Family, and excited about our future! Being around all of this positive energy makes me want to do even more to help keep it going. And I’m thankful that it’s almost the end of “Movember” – so I can shave off this itchy beard!
— Richard Cheek, Channel Sales Manager

I am thankful for a gorgeous and supportive wife.  She carries a heavy load due to my Patientco commitments.  She’s pretty damn awesome.

I am thankful for our Sonos Music and playlists; customers who appreciate fantastic service; prospects who say yes…and no (but not maybe); patients who take the time to write and say “thanks;” but mostly our people.  People here care about other people inside the company, and they care about people outside the company.  It’s inspiring to think about the quality of people we have in the business and how wonderful they are.
I am also thankful for intuition, hustle and tenacity, humble attitudes, problem solving minds, and peanut butter cake!!!
— Bird Blitch, CEO & co-founder
